God:
We believe that a Christian’s knowledge of God the creator of everything matters. He is one, yet has existed since the beginning of time as three distinct and equal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (see Gen. 1:26; Isa. 9:6; Matt. 3:16; 17; Luke 1:35; Heb. 3:7-11; 1 John 5:7). Through this knowledge our inward being is renewed day by day and we are being transformed into the image of Christ through the help from The Holy Spirit.

Truth:
We believe that the truth matters. As a church we should hold fast to God’s word and preach the true Word of God. The gospel of truth is so important to us that we desire to stand together with all who believe and preach it.

Faith is important: God is faithful in terms of his relationship to people. God’s love is constant and lasts forever and through it people are called to a response of faith. Faith in God deepens relationships with Him and enables people to explore more fully the meaning of their own life and the beauty of the lives of others. It is an important element of all kinds of family and other social relationships.

Love:
We believe that the Church of God should be a place of love and support where we bless and disciple each other through our lives. Our church should be one that is actively involved in showing the love of Christ to the local communities, workplaces and across nations.

Hope:
Christian hope is not simply positive thinking or looking on the bright side of life. It means having a trust in God and believing that God is in control and is at work to bring about the future that he wants (Rom. 15:13).

Justice is crucial: God always acts justly and he calls on people to do the same. His standards are the measure for people to follow and they are seen, in particular, in the person and the work of Jesus. As Christians we must ensure that the weak are protected from abuse, that the poor have what they need (e.g. children and socially disadvantaged are cared for).
